HOLLYWOOD LEGEND KIRK DOUGLAS DIES AT 103 YEARS OLD.





Spartacus actor Kirk Douglas, who was one of the last surviving stars of Hollywood’s Golden Age, has died aged 103.

According to the family, the Hollywood legend died on Wednesday at age 103.

“It is with tremendous sadness that my brothers and I announce that Kirk Douglas left us today at the age of 103,” his son actor Michael Douglas said in a statement to People Magazine.


“To the world, he was a legend, an actor from the golden age of movies who lived well into his golden years, a humanitarian whose commitment to justice and the causes he believed in set a standard for all of us to aspire to .”


He starred in a number of film classics, including director Stanley Kubrick’s Paths of Glory and Spartacus.


Douglas left behind his wife Anne and three sons Michael, Joel and Eric.
