ONLY NEW ARTISTES WILL SAY THE GOSPEL MUSIC INDUSTRY IS NOT LUCRATIVE - BROTHER SAMMY

Popular Ghanaian Gospel musician Brother Sammy has indicated that the Ghanaian gospel music industry is very lucrative. Brother Sammy was addressing claims made by some gospel artiste claiming the industry isn’t lucrative anymore.

However, Brother Sammy debunked these reports that the Gospel Music industry is not lucrative.

This comes after a fellow gospel artist known as Bra Paul, made some comments suggesting that gospel music in Ghana doesn’t pay.

In his reaction to these comments, Brother Sammy labelled artistes who will say the industry isn’t lucrative as new artistes.

In his view, such new artists should not expect to be at the level the established have gotten to within a short period of time.

To buttress his point, he disclosed that some artistes like Ohemaa Mercy who have been in the industry for a while charge GHC 40000 for an appearance at any program. This is enough proof that the Ghanaian gospel industry really pays.
