NAMES REALLY PLAY A MAJOR IN SHOWBIZ; I HAVE SHATTA WALE HIS NAME AND NOW SEE HOW HE IS TRENDING ’ – MR LOGIC REVEALS

Popular showbiz pundit, Emmanuel Barnes who is popularly called Mr Logic has claimed that he was the one who gave the stage name Shatta Wale to Charles Nii Armah Jnr.

Shatta Wale was formerly called Bandana and if not for today, no one Ghanaian had the slightest idea about who gave him his name.

However, Mr Logic in a recent radio submission stated that he suggested the name to the controversial Dancehall artiste since he believes names play a pivotal role in the success of a musician.

He said:

“Shatter was Bandana and whenever he sang he used the Wale name. He already had the Shatta Movement. So I recommended he used both names.”

According to Mr Logic, he heard the name ‘Wale’ in most of Shatta Wale’s song when he was still known as Bandana so he told him to merge it with Shatta coined from the name of his huge fan base.

“He had another name aside from the Bandana which was vibrant on the street but prior to his comeback recently, he mentioned Shatta Wale in his hit song Dancehall King, it sounded so well to me so I recommended it to him which he accepted and that has been his trademark name. I believe in names because as an artist or an individual, names matter so much,” Mr Logic added
