Ajax name price for Ziyech

Ajax have named their price for Hakim Ziyech.

The Daily Mirror have reported the Dutch champions have placed a £30million price tag on the playmaker.

Ziyech is said to favour a move to the Premier League.

With Liverpool one of the favourites to land the 26-year-old according to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.

Naby Keita's Guinea arrive in Egypt

Naby Keita and his team-mates have arrived in Egypt ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

The Liverpool midfielder is vying to be fit for his side’s opener against Madagascar on 22 June.

Keita won the Champions League with the Reds two weeks ago.

But the No. 8 was not part of Jurgen Klopp’s matchday squad in Madrid due to the injury he picked up in the semi-final first leg.

Guinea’s official Instagram shared a picture of the squad after they landed in Alexandria.

Mane suspended from AFCON opener

Sadio Mane has been suspended from Senegal’s Africa Cup of Nations opening match.

The BBC have confirmed the Liverpool striker will miss the opener after he picked up two yellow cards in the Nations Cup qualifiers.

Senegalese coach Aliou Cisse said: “His absence should not in any way bother us.

“Certainly the presence of Sadio is beneficial but without him we remain strong.

“The CAF (Confederation of African Football) has decided, so we will not linger.”

Senegal will face Tanzania in Cairo on June 23.

Following the one-match ban the 27-year-old will be available to play in the final group games against Algeria and Kenya.

Mohamed Salah has turned 27 today.

In celebration of his birthday Liverpool have shared a five-minute long clip of the Egyptian doing what he does best, score stunners.

Liverpool 'join race' for Besiktas star

Liverpool have reportedly joined Premier League rivals Arsenal in the race to sign Dorukhan Tokoz.

According to Sport Witness via Fotomac the Reds are interested in acquiring the Besiktas midfielder.

While a host of Serie A sides are also being tipped as potential suitors for the 23-year-old.

Tokoz started for Turkey as they defeated world champions France 2-0 in last Saturday’s Euro 2020 qualifier.

Maxi Gomez bid accepted

West Ham United have had a bid accepted by Celta Vigo for striker Maxi Gomez.

Liverpool were profusely linked with the Uruguayan who now looks to be on his way to the London Stadium.

Sky Sports have reported the Hammers bid of £29million has been deemed acceptable by the La Liga side.

The 22-year-old currently partners ex-Reds’ forward Iago Aspas at the Spanish club.

The German coach will turn 52 on Sunday and was spotted in the popular party destination by a fan.

Liverpool's Coutinho stance revealed

It has been no secret that Barcelona are willing to let Philippe Coutinho leave the Camp Nou this summer.

And with that a host of clubs including Liverpool have been linked with acquiring the Brazilian playmaker.

But according to Marca via the Express the Reds are not interested in re-signing Coutinho.

The 27-year-old made the £142million move to Spain in 2018, but endured a difficult first full season with the La Liga winners.

He found his scoring form for Brazil on Friday as he scored a brace in their Copa America win over Bolivia.

The superstar Liverpool striker turns 27 today.

Salah is currently on international duty with Egypt who kick off their Africa Cup of Nations tournament later this month.

The Champions League winner has provided Reds’ fans with so many memorable moments during his two season tenure at Anfield.

Young midfielder linked

Liverpool are reportedly interested in Coventry City youngster Tom Bayliss.

The midfielder has attracted a lot of attention from a host of clubs.

And Birmingham Live believe the midfielder is on the Reds’ radar.

Aston Villa, Leeds and Everton have also been linked with the 20-year-old who could cost around £3m.

Firmino and Coutinho reconnect

Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino was in action for Brazil on Friday evening as Tite’s side kicked off their Copa America campaign with a win.

The Reds’ goalscorer started alongside former team-mate Philippe Coutinho.

And the pair showed a glimpse of their telepathic understanding that was often on show during the Barcelona playmaker’s time at Anfield.

Coutinho opened the scoring from the penalty spot, before Firmino chipped across a sumptuous ball three minutes later for the 27-year-old to tap home.

Everton added a stunning third to wrap up a 3-0 win over Bolivia.

While Liverpool’s No. 1 Alisson also started as Brazil recorded their 100th Copa America win.

Andy Robertson on his one regret

Scottish captain Andy Robertson has admitted there is one thing he regrets from his record-breaking season with Liverpool.

Dejan Lovren 'agrees terms'

Dejan Lovren has been repeatedly linked with a move to Serie A giants AC Milan this week.

On Friday it was reported the Croatian’s representatives travelled to Italy to begin talks with the seven-times European champions.

According to Milan News the World Cup finalist is keen on making the switch and will cost around £25million.

While Football Insider claim the 29-year-old is moving increasingly closer to agreeing terms with Milan.

The experienced defender moved to Liverpool from Southampton in 2014, and was part of the squad which won the Champions League earlier this month.

Isco made available

Real Madrid playmaker Isco will be available to sign this summer.

AS are reporting that the La Liga giants will let Isco leave for £71.2million.

Having already spent £300million on the likes of Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic and Ferland Mendy this summer Real Madrid will be looking to recoup costs.

Liverpool have been linked with Isco in the past, and it remains to be seen where the talented 27-year-old will be playing his football next season.

Reds lead chase for Hakim Ziyech

Liverpool have been named as one of the favourites to sign Ajax star Hakim Ziyech.

The playmaker had after a sensational season with the Dutch champions, and is reportedly being made available for around £31million.

According to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf via TeamTalk, the 26-year-old favours a move to the Premier League.

With Liverpool and Arsenal said to be leading the chase for the Moroccan’s signature.
