Jon Snow  may have been treated like a true king by his Northern pals in the recent episode of Game Of Thrones, but viewers were left furious at his behaviour.

‘What could our curly-haired King Of The North have possibly done wrong?’ we hear you ask. Well, with Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) deciding to take her army south to confront Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), Jon was forced to leave Winterfell.

We were turned into emotional wrecks when the lad said goodbye to best friends Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju) and Samwell Tarley (John Bradley). But, upon seeing his beloved direwolf Ghost, who cried at his owner leaving him, Jon couldn’t even muster a hug for the poor boy.

The best boy in Westeros. Understandably, the internet was absolutely raging. ‘I’m sorry but Jon did not even hug Ghost goodbye.

He does NOT deserve to be King #GameOfThrones,’ one fan wrote. ‘We will all say what Jon couldn’t: You’re a good boy Ghost #GameofThrones,’ another fumed. ‘Our little smoll boi is so hurt. #ghost #GameofThrones,’ one more viewer pointed out. Jon has been well and truly disowned by the Game Of Thrones fans.

Another summed up everyone’s feelings by saying: ‘THAT WAS NOT THE FAREWELL GHOST DESERVED. HE IS THE BESTEST BOI!!!’

It wasn’t the only part of the episode that sparked a strong reaction from fans, however, after Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) commented on how being raped made her ‘stronger’. In the most recent season eight episode The Last Of The Starks, Sansa (played by Sophie Turner) reunited with The Hound (Rory McCann), who said he was angry he didn’t save her from her abusers.

When Sansa replied, she said that being a rape victim had made her the tough woman she is today.

Unsurprisingly, fans hit back at this particular scene and scorned writers David Benioff and D. B. Weiss on Twitter. The episode also said a sad goodbye to Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) who was executed on Cersei’s orders.
